Fishing report from Iraq

The Charleston Angler wants to send a big THANK YOU to all of the Guys and Girls serving our Country overseas and away from home for the Holidays. Keep up the good work!  We are all thinking about you and hope and pray that you all return home safely soon.

These pictures came to us from Ken who is presently serving in Iraq under the Air Force  Joint Combat Camera Team.  We’re glad that he could take some time away from the stresses of the war and get some much needed R & R.  Ken, can’t wait until we can get you on some of our Redfish back home!

Merry Christmas from Iraq.  Notice the Charleston Angler logo on the coffee mug!

Biggest fish so far.  5 lbs and 22 inches long. It was caught on Kens own Asp Crack Fly using an 8 wgt Fly rod.
